Making orthodontic treatment more affordable
We believe orthodontic treatment is a great investment for children and adults of all ages, and we aim to make treatment accessible and affordable to all. We don’t want finances to be a barrier to you getting the smile you’ve always wanted, and so will do our very best to provide you with a payment plan that best suits your needs.
Our payment plans are interest free, allowing you to spread the cost of treatment. Typically, fees are broken down into an initial payment of about 25% of the overall cost, payable at the beginning of treatment, with the remainder payable either monthly or quarterly.
How much does orthodontic treatment cost?
The cost of treatment will depend of the severity of the patients’ orthodontic problem and will take into account the estimated length of treatment, and the type of braces used.
At your complimentary consultation, we can determine whether or not you would benefit from orthodontic treatment and decide on the best time to start. If you are ready for treatment, we will provide you with a quotation based on your individual needs.
What is included in the cost of treatment?
Your fee covers all aspects of your orthodontic treatment carried out within the practice. This includes all appliances and braces, lab costs, x-rays, routine and emergency visits, initial set of retainers and follow-up retainer checks up to one year after active treatment.
Please note that before treatment commences a fee of €160 will be charged for patient records. This includes initial diagnostic x-rays and models of the teeth; however, this fee will be deducted from the cost of your treatment.
Is treatment tax deductible?
Orthodontic treatment is tax deductible for you and your children at the current rate of 20%. We will be happy to provide you with a completed MED 2 form. You may like to visit the Irish Tax and Customs website for more information on claiming medical expenses.
